Online MTTC Safety Course
Hello Pressure Sensor Workshop Participants!
Instructions for getting started!
You were directed here to prepare for UNM's Manufacturing Training and Technology (MTTC) Safety Exam. In order to successfully achieve an 80% or higher, it is critical you go through the material in detail and take the practice assessment (online test).
The SCME is currently using MOODLE to deliver this online safety class. MOODLE is an open source course management system used by thousands of educators across the globe.
You may wish to either send yourself these instructions and print them out by clicking on the letter icon above or creating a pdf version of this and printing it out.
If you have any questions or find these instructions confusing feel free to contact me, Matthias Pleil
The first step, is to go to the SCME MOODLE home page: www.scme-nm.net/moodle and select the course you are interested in, in this case the MTTC Safety Course.
The next screen describes how to register as a guest. Select "Create Account" and follow the instructions. This is an authenticated system which mean you will receive an email to complete the guest registration requirments.
Once you've completed the registration process, you can login into the course.
The course is set up to be followed in order of how the steps are laid out - you are strongly encouraged to follow this order.
In order to save the results of your online assessment - I need to convert you from a guest to a student, which I will do.
Feel free to call me if you have questions - you should have my number!
See you at the workshop!
